Social Media Manager

We are looking or a Social Media expert to join our Social & Content Team to coordinate and manage our clients’ social presence. As a Social Media Manager, your role will involve the day-to-day leadership of various social media accounts. Leading the team, you will develop and implement exciting and engaging strategies across all social media channels for a variety of business industries and lead the student content team for accommodationforstudents.com

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the Social & Content team (comprising of Social Media Executive and student content writers and producers) and delegate work effectively.
  • Develop and implement cutting edge strategies for multiple campaigns across all social media platforms, including: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.
  • Plan and deliver content on a daily basis using scheduling tools such as Hootsuite and manage social media communities by responding to social media posts and developing discussions.
  • Mentor, train and supervise team where necessary.
  • Lead the content strategy for Accommodation For Students
  • Monitor and report on performance using tools such as Hootsuite, Facebook Analytics, Google Analytics.
  • Set up, manage, and analyse paid Facebook/Instagram adverts.
  • Regularly liaise with clients via telephone, email, conference calls or face-to-face.

Requirements

  • Experience developing and delivering social media strategies for brands.
  • Previous experience of managing and moderating sizable social media communities.
  • Understanding of page/account management for the major social media channels.
  • Understanding of typical social media KPIs, measurement and how to use channel analytics.
  • Strong communication skills, self-motivated, proactive, and creative.
  • Superior writing and editing skills and strong proofreading and grammar skills with the ability to create unique and engaging content.
  • Experience with paid Facebook advertising desirable.
  • Organised and comfortable leading a team
